Core Rules & Conduct
To keep Chingle welcoming for everyone, all users are expected to adhere to the following community standards:
- 18+ Requirement: Minors under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from using the video service.
- No Nudity or Sexual Content: Any display of nudity, sexual acts, or solicitation results in an immediate permanent ban.
- No Harassment or Hate Speech: Bullying, racial slurs, discrimination, or abusive language will not be tolerated.
- No Scams or Spam: Commercial promotion, phishing links, and fraudulent activity are forbidden.
Protecting Your Privacy
Because conversations are with anonymous strangers, you should always safeguard your real-world identity:
- Never share your full name, home address, school, or workplace.
- Never share banking details, phone numbers, or passwords.
- Be cautious of camera angles that reveal identifiable personal items.
- Do not click unknown external links shared in text chat.
Reporting Violations
If someone behaves inappropriately, click the Report button located in the top header immediately.
Reporting a user will instantly terminate the WebRTC connection, block them from being rematched with you, and send an incident report to our moderation team.
